Rave rave rave - Serengeti Safari Camp

RAVE RAVE RAVE: They saw EVERYTHING. Right in the heart of the Migration. Saw a wildebeest being born. Loved remoteness of camp. “Great aesthetics.” (I asked them if the décor still felt fresh and they said “absolutely”, and they were amazed that a moving camp could achieve that.) Camp was full, which they enjoyed as all the wags were interesting people, mostly Brits.

Their guide David was incredible, taught them so so so much about spotting very quickly. Intuitive about when to blab and when to shut up. Very personable. Migration was basically in camp; a lion used one of the tents for cover, to spy on the plains game. Huge pride of 15 lion right there, with playing cubs, etc. 17 giraffe in camp at one point. Also saw wild dog! Guide said he hadn’t seen them in 2 years. Also saw 2 leopards in separate incidents and cheetah. And tons of lion besides that big pride. Food excellent. They just thought the whole experience was superb.

And it spoiled them for the rest of their safari. Next time I’ll send clients there LAST!
