Incredible trip

The trip was so incredible!!!  I cannot thank you and Elmina and the rest of the Nomad crew for such a wonderful trip.  It was absolutely perfect!  We loved every bit of it and were so sad we missed you!!!  We loved Richard (Knocker) and meeting Jo and Naomi.  I cannot wait to see the new website!  We loved all of the staff at both camps in the north and sweet Emmanuel was wonderful!  We had so many questions that he patiently answered and was just a wealth of information.  We loved Babu and Sam and all of the other staff behind the scenes!  The camps were so clean and well done.  What an experience!

Then we headed down South.  Sand Rivers was more than amazing.  I have NOOOOOO complaints, only absolutely positive feedback.  Carol, Mike and Matt were FABULOUS and do such a great job.  We laughed so hard with them and stayed up too late both nights!  J  In addition, the staff was spectacular, food was fabulous and you were so wonderful to upgrade us to a suite.  We were so sad to leave and I promise I could come back and stay a week at Sand Rivers.  The Selous is so underrated!  I cannot wait to sell it more.  The order of my trip was perfect as well.  And I cannot compliment our guide, sweet Peter, enough.  He was beyond fabulous.  We wanted to take him home with us!!!!  As luck would have it, he told us he was a Maasai Warrior so we showed him our pictures from Loliondo.  We had visited HIS VILLAGE!!!!  He knew people in our photos!!!  It was such a treat.   He told us so much about the Maasai with firsthand knowledge and his animal spotting, knowledge of the bush and temperament was beyond compare.  If he happens to be in Katavi next summer when I come back with my family, we definitely want him to guide us!!!  We also loved all of the staff we met including Paulie (sp?), Crazy and Masa and again, all of the wonderful staff behind the scenes or who’s name I can’t remember but they were all so welcoming and happy. 

I really cannot say enough about the trip.  You were the best hosts and I’m just thrilled my family will share the hospitality next summer.  Thank you thank you thank you!!!!
